LITHIUM FLUORIDE CRYSTALS for SALE

Lithium Fluoride (LiF) Optical UV Crystals   ~   More Info   ~   Contact Us

We have available LiF crystals that we are interested in selling.

These crystals are very pure and were grown for good transmission at UV wavelengths, as shown in the transmission curve (Figs. 1,2) and Table 1.

There are several types available:
(1) Optically polished flat crystals, 1 cm thick, approximately square 170 x 170 mm2 planar face, with angled sides in one direction (see Photo 1);
(2) Same as item (1), but half-size, with the same thickness;
(3) Optically polished "sawtooth" crystals, of approximately the same size, having one of the square faces polished to have 20 ridges of 45 degrees (see Photo 2, and Fig. 3).

Items are available with different levels of surface qualities: All clean surfaces, or one surface with some epoxy.

For many more details, refer to section 3 of this paper.

Please let us know the quantity you are interested in and which type and we will provide a price quote. Please contact us here. Thank you.

Edges are right angles on two sides and have 6 degree bevel on the opposite two sides.

Optical Transmission
Crystals as manufactured met or exceeded external transmission as given in this table.

WavelengthTransmission
135 nm > 66%
150 nm > 77%
165 nm > 85%
