Add an IP printer with type LPD/LPR

When prompted for login:
netid @ syr.edu (ie: joeuser @ syr.edu)
and your netid password
If you have problems with your netid password, please see http://netid.syr.edu and reset your password (and set a challenge question if you havent already)
If you have problems with the above instructions, you can also try adding a LOCAL printer by adding an IP address port (HP Jet Direct) using the included IP addresses.
Windows 7 and Vista instructions:
WINDOWS KEY+R (for Run) and type/paste the path above to install driver for each printer you choose
When prompted for login:
AD\netid @ syr.edu (ie: AD\joeuser@syr.edu) may have to use: AD\netid
and your netid password
Be sure to check the "Remember my password"

Set address/server to the above server (as-prq-01.ad.syr.edu)
Set printer queue to the name above (ex: as-phy-261-HP8150-pcl6)
Choose the proper driver to match the model of the printer, and add the options the printer has (ex: duplexer, extra trays, etc)
If you have problems with the above instructions, you can also try adding a printer by IP address (HP Jet Direct) using the included IP addresses.
