1) Setup a mail client (such as Outlook, Thunderbird) with the following settings:
Add a new account as an IMAP connection
Incoming mail server: mail.phy.syr.edu (using your physics username and password)
Secure connection must be used (SSL port 993)
Outgoing mail server: smtp-host.syr.edu (using your netid and password) - this should already be set (using secure connection SSL port 465)
IMAP root folder path should be blank
2) Use the webmail client at https://webmail.phy.syr.edu/
