ABSTRACT: "I will try to clarify the differences among the various approaches 
to (and will give an overview of) 2+1-dimensional gravity. After this I will 
present a Kaluza-Klein dimensional reduction performed on the sole 
Chern-Simons gravity term. The reduced theory supports a symmetry breaking 
solution and an associated kink interpolating between AdS and dS geometries."
