Long distance modifications of gravity in four dimensions

Abstract:

I will talk about recent work (gr-qc/0506096, gr-qc/0511045, gr-qc/0512109) on infrared modifications of the 4D action of general relativity. In particular I will discuss some consistency issues (absence of ghosts, agreement with Solar System experiments) and possible implications for the dark energy and dark matter problem.
