Title : New black hole solutions of Einstein's equations, inspired by noncommutative geometry
Abstract:
| After 30 years of intensive research, various aspects of the physics of radiating black holes still remain under debate. For instance, a fully satisfactory description of the late stage of black hole evaporation is still missing. In this context, a model of non-commutative geometry inspired black hole provides a solution. For the case of electrically neutral, non-rotating matter, a new scenario of the evaporation process is presented. We show that non-commutative coordinate fluctuations can cure the conventional singularities and the divergent behavior of the black hole temperature. We analyze also the charged case to replace the conventional Reissner-Nordstroem geometry with a new, non-commutative geometry inspired, solution of the coupled Einstein-Maxwell field equations. Both the Hawking and Schwinger pair creation are discussed in this new scenario. |
