How to surf the web
Now, you can explore the World Wide Web
by just clicking on the underlined words or
bordered images (called LINKS)...
or typing a location in the LOCATION box.
Use the scrollbars and/or the arrow/page keys
to move around a large page.
Use the BACK and FORWARD buttons to move back and forth
between links you've already visited.
If you want to search the internet for something, click on SEARCH
or pull down the DIRECTORY menu and select INTERNET SEARCH.
Bookmarks
You can save your interesting links by adding
BOOKMARKS to your
personal list of interesting links.
Just pull down the BOOKMARKS menu and select
ADD BOOKMARK.
If you have your own 3.5-inch disk, you can save your
own personal bookmarks when you are all done.
To save your bookmarks,
pull down the WINDOW menu and select BOOKMARKS.
pull down the FILE menu and select SAVE AS...,
and select your 3.5-inch disk.
To retrieve your previously saved bookmarks,
pull down the WINDOW menu and select BOOKMARKS.
pull down the FILE menu and select OPEN,
and select your 3.5-inch disk and find your bookmark file.
If you make a (big?) mistake,
just close the window by clicking on the square
in the upper left corner of your current window... then start over,
if you want.
