Additional Text
"Modern Quantum Mechanics", J.J. Sakurai. Time to time
we shall also use journal papers. Copies of these will be provided by the
instructor.
Course Description
The material we will cover includes spin, addition of
angular momenta, Bose-Einstein condensates, variational method, time independent
and time dependent perturbation theory, scattering theory and a brief
introduction to relativistic quantum mechanics. Depending on time and interest,
we may change some topics or cover additional topics.
