Connection Coefficients

Connection coefficients, sometimes referred to as "Christoffel Symbols", are derived from the metric tensor, and represent the changing of the basis vectors from event to event.

The connection coefficient can be thought of as the "alpha" component of the change in "beta" due to a parallel transport along "gamma".

=(g+g-g+c+c-c)

In a coordinate frame, all 'c's in the above equation are zero.
