Quad 1 Lot Directions

Physics in Your Future is a program for high school students considering taking a college physics program or a major in a related science. Students who attend will get an inside picture of what it is like to be a college student majoring in physics, as well as information on job opportunities. An emphasis will be placed on the wide variety of careers for which training in physics is excellent preparation.

The program will be held on Saturday afternoon, October 22, 2011 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The location is the Physics Building, located on the main campus of Syracuse University, off the quadrangle, in Rooms 202-204, second floor. Reservations in advance are not necessary. Students, teachers, parents and counselors are welcome to attend.

The link titled Quad 1 Lot Directions on this page gives verbal directions to the campus, starting from various directions outside the City of Syracuse. It also contains a campus map that diplays the Physics Building. the Building is located on the map slightly to the right of Crouse Road and right below Hendricks Chapel, in the lower central part of the map.

You can reach the campus by going south on Irving Avenue, starting from East Genesee Street. (See map below of the Campus Locator.) Make a left turn onto Waverly Avenue, go one block and make a right turn onto South Crouse Avenue. At University Place, the next intersection, you reach the campus. Continue straight ahead, traveling on Crouse Road. (See the Campus map at the bottom of the link Parking Directions.) You can park, just past the Guards Gate, next to Hendricks Chapel. Then walk past the front of the Chapel, veering left. You are then facing the Physics Building.
