- In Fall 2008 I will deliver a High Energy/Particle Astrophysics seminar in the Physics Department at the Penn. State University.
- October 13, 2008, I will deliver a colloquium in the Physics Department at the State University of New York at Binghamton.
- November 4, 2008 I will deliver a colloquium in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Pomona College.
- November 6-8, 2008 I will serve as the Chair of the Organizing Committee at the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) Kavli Frontiers of Science Symposium, at the NAS at the Beckman Center in
Irvine, California.
- November 13, 2008 I will deliver a colloquium in the Department of Astronomy at Cornell University.
- January 25-31, 2009 I am co-organizing a winter workshop on cosmology at the Aspen Center for Physics.
- February 20, 2009 I will deliver the colloquium in the Physics Department at Simon Fraser University, in Vancouver.
- April 8, 2009 I will give a seminar in the Center for Cosmology and Particle Physics at New York University.
- May 5-10, 2009 I will lecture at a School on Particle Physics and Cosmology, organized by the Laboratoire de Physique Théorique d'Oran in Les Andalouses, Oran, Algeria.

- August 10-13, 2008 I lectured at the SLAC Summer Institute (SSI): Cosmic Accelerators, at the Stanford
Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC).
- July 30 - August 5, 2008 I participated in and delivered an invited talk at the 34th International Conference on High Energy Physics (ICHEP08) at the University of Pennsylvania.
- July 4, 2008 I took part in the annual
meeting of the Editorial Board of the New
Journal of Physics in London, England.
- May 19-23, 2008 I was an invited speaker at the 2nd International Workshop on the Interconnection Between Particle Physics and Cosmology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
- May 7-11, 2008 I participated in and delivered a talk at the Twelfth Annual Seven Pines Symposium, held near Stillwater, Minnesota.
- May 1-3, 2008 I delivered an invited talk at the Topical Workshop on Cosmology: Interplay Between Theory and Observation, at the Institute for Gravitation and the Cosmos at Penn State University.
- April 26-29, 2008 I participated in the annual meeting of the National Academy of Sciences in Washington D.C., to organize a session on the Accelerating Universe.
